Samantha Jane grew up in England and started singing with various groups from a young age.  She moved to the States and landed in Florida where she sang with the Magic of Manatee, a competing barbershop chorus based south of Tampa.

After relocating to the Hudson Valley area, she formed the Samantha Jane Duo with seasoned vibraphone player Kurt Herman, often adding bass and drums for that classic jazz quartet sound.

In 2024 she returned to the Sunshine State and began performing with accomplished pianist Ethan Eckhard. In March 2024 she was honored to take part in the Sarasota Art Museum live exhibition Never Records with New York Artist Ted Riederer, performing, recording and cutting a record.

She has performed/recorded with Ed Kinder, Nicholas Hass, Ethan Eckhard, Tom Charlap, Pete Sweeney, Kurt Herman, Phil Nestor, Vince Leggiere, Jimmy DaVinci, Keith Pray, and Jeff Oehling.

The Samantha Jane Band performs a variety of jazz and pop standards, and has two albums on Spotify: Samantha Jane - Catskill Vibe and Samantha Jane & Kurt Herman - All the Things You Are
